ALSC provides a combined 40+ year experience in capital equipment sales & business development activities in Oil & Gas, Petrochemical, Specialty Chemical, Government, and Food & Agriculture markets. The markets vary not only in what they produce, but in how they receive visitors, evaluate new equipment and procedures, and adopt and train laboratory personnel on new equipment and/or methods. In particular, the Specialty Chemical and somewhat the Petrochemical markets vary dramatically from Oil & Gas. Many of the methods in Specialty Chemical facilities, even those providing 24/7 production support, are proprietary and not guided by any standards body such as ASTM. These clients are likely to purchase an instrument based only on the instrument specifications, not because a particular standard body requires it in a method.
